DESCRIPTION
The course will identify different types of card in use, will explain identify theft and card fraud and give an oversight of what is being done to prevent it. The course will also cover how the Data Protection Act applies.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Identify the different types of card in use
- Demonstrate an understanding of identify theft
- Demonstrate an understanding of how much card fraud costs and what is being done to prevent it
- Explain steps a firm can take to protect the cardholder’s information
- Discuss how the Data Protection Act applies.
