DESCRIPTION
In this course we will cover the key requirements, rules and expectations of Product Governance and Oversight in relation to product manufacturers and co-manufacturers.
OBJECTIVES
- Understand the Product Oversight and Governance requirements for general insurance products for manufacturers and co-manufacturers
- Be able to define and explain the key components of the requirements, including the product approval process and fair value
- Be aware of the importance of knowing the needs, objectives and characteristics of a target market
- Understand the role distribution channels play in product governance
- Be able to demonstrate compliance with the Product Governance rules
