DESCRIPTION

This module explores how communication is the key to any situation that a professional finds themselves in. There may also be situations where a difficult situation arises and you’re the one who needs to take control.

This module explores the barriers of communication and how it can cause frustration with the other party, before discovering techniques to overcome those barriers.

Finally, delegates will understand what it means to be assertive, when it is required and how to assert themselves effectively.

OBJECTIVES
  • Discover techniques to communicate more proactively and clearly
  • Plan for difficult conversations effectively, identifying possible situations that need to be defused
  • Understand the importance of self-motivation, whilst identifying stressors that stop it
  • Recognise how to be assertive and build confidence when assertiveness is required
